Academic Success and Enrichment

Academic Success and Enrichment (ASE) manages the Learning Center, offering course-based and skill-based tutoring, both in-person and virtually, as well as Supplemental Instruction and the Peer Success Guide Program at the Long Island and New York City campuses.

ASE also provides online resources—specifically through Canvas—on various academic success topics such as My Guide to Success @ New York Tech, Finding Success in Online Learning, and Student Success Modules available for faculty to use in courses, and found in the ACE Program.

An organized, peer-led, discussion-based approach to tackling tough courses together, outside of your regular class meetings.

The PSG Program will pair first-year students with a Peer Success Guide who will provide you with social support and direct you to the many services and resources we have to offer.

First-year students will get access to information to help transition to college, such as discounts, communication and time management skills, study strategies, and so much more! Find it on your Canvas dashboard (only new, undergraduate students will have access to this course).

Schedule appointments with the ASE for one-to-one Academic Skill Workshops on study skills, test taking skills, and time management.
