NYIT Auditorium on Broadway, 1871 Broadway, between 61st and 62nd Streets
New York, NY

New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) together with IIE (Institute of International Education) will host a summit on Global Education on June 5, 2017, in New York. The event invites participants to explore promising practices for preparing, supporting, and retaining refugees in higher education around the globe.

The keynote and panel discussion, featuring leaders in the field, will focus on approaches to supporting refugees in higher education—both those that have worked and that have not worked. A reception with dessert follows the presentation.

In addition to learning from their colleagues’ successes and challenges, attendees can network with other participants, building a community of individuals with similar goals who can connect long after the conference ends.
