Learn to make and fabricate with metal, plastic, acrylic, wood and other materials. This program is focused around hands-on design, prototyping and fabrication techniques to take an idea from paper to parts to assembly. Skills covered include measurement and setup techniques, fixturing and workholding, band saw use, drill press work, belt sanding, grinding, vertical milling, GMAW welding, 3D printing, laser cutting/engraving, CAD design and prototyping. The program also incorporates team based and individual design and build exercises. Explore the exciting world of making and fabricating a safe environment while growing your skill set.
