Clinical pharmacology bridges the foundational and clinical sciences. The fundamental concepts of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and toxicology incorporate key elements of biochemistry, physiology and anatomy. This course will highlight the relationships between foundational pharmacology and clinical therapeutics through case-based discussions focused on the treatment and prevention of disease. |
