FRIENDS of the School of Architecture & Design Alumni Awards Nomination Form

The Executive Committee of the FRIENDS of the School of Architecture and Design is accepting nominations for its annual Spotlight on Alumni awards. Alumni and friends are welcome to nominate themselves or classmates and colleagues, and are welcome to nominate more than one individual. All submissions will be added to a running list and will be reviewed by the Executive Committee each year. Please find the award description and criteria below.

Distinguished Alumni Award (up to two per year) Must be a graduate of one of New York Tech's accredited architecture or design programs. Shall demonstrate outstanding achievement and widespread recognition in creativity, innovation, leadership, and professional excellence. Represents the design, architecture, and/or construction professions.

Emerging Alumni Award (one per year) Must have graduated within the last 12 years from one of New York Tech's accredited architecture and design programs. Shall demonstrate great promise and leadership, and are actively making an influential impact in their profession. Represents the design, architecture, and/or construction professions.

Legacy Award (one per year) May be an alumni or friend of New York Tech. Shall have led a career of distinction, achieved significant prominence through their leadership and efforts in the industries of design, architecture, and/or construction. Has demonstrated a commitment to professional service in their community. Embodies pride in their alma mater and support of NYIT School of Architecture and Design.
