Gregory C. Gerber is a renowned educator, speaker, and consultant specializing in educational leadership, faculty development, digital systems efficiency, digital threat assessment, and school safety. He has been instrumental in shaping educational landscapes, notably contributing to the BCEd Plan and serving as a keynote educator for the Ministry of Education in British Columbia. Gerber's expertise lies in bridging the gap between education and technology, pioneering innovative approaches to curriculum design, assessment, and the integration of technology in learning environments.

Serving in the role of associate campus dean (Academic) at New York Institute of Technology in Vancouver, Gerber also directs the Vancouver Centre for Teaching and Learning. His leadership extends to numerous committees focused on emerging technologies, AI, and curriculum development. He is deeply committed to fostering digital literacy and has developed specialized training programs in digital threat assessment (DTA) for educators, administrators, law enforcement, and even federal agencies.

Gerber's influence reaches far beyond the classroom. He holds an Ed.D. in Transformational Change from Simon Fraser University, where his dissertation explored the evolving expectations for university faculty. He also holds an M.Ed. in Educational Administration from the University of British Columbia and a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from Simon Fraser University. His extensive experience includes roles as Director of Learning for the Society of Christian Schools in British Columbia, director of Information Technology at multiple schools, education consultant, and high school teacher and administrator. He continues to be a driving force in educational innovation and a passionate advocate for safer learning environments.
