Adam Hurst, M.D., grew up in Jonesboro, Ark., where he attended Jonesboro High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Ouachita Baptist University in 2005. He received his M.D. from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2009, after which he went to the University of Alabama-Birmingham for his pediatric residency program. He completed residency in 2016 and then worked as chief resident until June 2017, upon which he returned home to Jonesboro. He worked as a pediatrician at The Children's Clinic until 2024, when he chose to join the team at New York Institute of Technology, working in their medical clinic and teaching in the department of clinical medicine.
Hurst is married to Mallory Hurst, M.D., a dermatologist at St. Bernard's Dermatology Clinic. They have four children together. He enjoys being outdoors, tennis, pickleball, and any adventure their kids will take him on.
Hurst is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is accepting new patients from birth to 18 years of age for well child examinations, assistance in managing chronic illness, and acute sick visits.
