Christina Koutra holds a Ph.D. (University of Brighton); M.Sc. (Hons) (University of Surrey); and a B.Sc. (Hons) (University of Surrey), UK. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK (Postgraduate Certificate in Education). She is a recipient of an Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) post-doctoral fellowship and a United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) doctoral research scholarship. Koutra has worked and delivered lectures in various universities around the world and attended and presented in international conferences. She has undertaken international consultancy; is an editor/reviewer of several peer-reviewed academic journals; and authored and edited books. Her research area is in Corporate Social Responsibility, Political Economy, Development, Cross Cultural Management, Human Resource Management, Tourism and Hospitality Development, and Poverty Reduction.
