Daniel Moscato is certified as a Physician Assistant (PA) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from New York Institute of Technology (2016) and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Dowling College (2013).
Moscato practiced at Mercy Medical Center as a Surgical Physician Assistant for 2.5 years and has since been practicing at PM Pediatric Urgent Care for approximately 6 years, where he held positions including Clinical Director and Advanced Practice Provider Lead for Long Island/New York regions.
Moscato joined New York Tech’s School of Health Professions as an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies in 2024. Later that same year, he joined the department as an assistant professor. He has presented at local and national continuing education conferences on topics pertaining to pediatric medicine.
Besides his teaching endeavors, he serves on the NYIT Academic Senate and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the New York State Society of Physician Assistants, the Physician Assistant Education Association, and the Urgent Care Association.
In his spare time, Moscato enjoys spending quality time with friends and family over a home-cooked meal.
