Diane Neff is a registered architect in New York and Connecticut, a member of the American Institute of Architects and a LEED accredited professional. In addition to teaching, she currently maintains a private architecture and design practice. The multidisciplinary, collaborative nature of design is one of her interests, as is fostering design understanding and sustainability at all age levels.

As well as teaching history courses, theory courses and numerous design courses, she has served as chair of the architecture department at the NYIT-Long Island campus and as third-year design coordinator at NYIT-New York City. She is a recipient of the New York Institute of Technology Presidential Excellence Award for Outstanding Achievement in Adjunct Teaching.

She received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at The University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation.
