Eric Greenberg received his B.S. in Health Science in 2002 from the University of Florida, Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University in 2005, and a Ph.D. from the University of the Cumberlands in 2024. He is also a 2009 graduate of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) credentialed post-professional sports physical therapy residency program at the University of Delaware.

An active APTA member, Greenberg is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialities as a sports clinical specialist, and recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a certified strength and conditioning specialist. He has published content in several peer-reviewed journals including Sports Health, the Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy, and Sports Biomechanics. In addition, he has co-authored multiple textbook chapters and continues to present nationally and regionally on a variety of topics including running mechanics, the adolescent athlete, and subjects pertaining to sports physical therapy.

Greenberg has vast clinical experience in sports and orthopedics, which complements his roles in the New York Tech Center for Sports Medicine and as the Department of Physical Therapy's assistant director of clinical education. He teaches in the Foundations of Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy Practice, Imaging and Surgical Management in Physical Therapy, Special Topics in Physical Therapy, and Research courses.
