Ellen Greer is NYS licensed in Occupational Therapy and Psychoanalysis. She specializes in the areas of mental health, qualitative research and private clinical practice. Her research focuses on the cultural, health and psychosocial factors in the lives of women in paid and unpaid work, and college students who experience stress, loss and barriers to achievement.

Greer received her Ph.D. in advanced occupational therapy at New York University, her M.A. in occupational therapy at New York University, and a B.A. in English literature with a minor in secondary education at CCNY. She is a graduate from the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies where she trained in psychoanalysis. In addition, she received a certificate in group psychotherapy at the Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society.
