Felix Fischman has more than 25 years of experience working in different industries and teaching at various universities. The companies he has worked for include Underwriters Laboratories; Lexent; Systra Inc., in conjunction with Lockheed Martin and the MTA; the Human Resources Administration; LinkedIn; Innovative Security, and many others where he held various junior and senior-level positions.

He joined New York Institute of Technology in 1998 and for the past three years was voted one of the best faculty. He also has taught part-time at universities including The City University of New York (CUNY), The State University of New York (SUNY), St. John's University, and Touro College.

He also is an instructor in the newly-launched Python Programming for Women and Single Parents workshop at New York Tech, which provides in-demand coding skills in the popular Python programming language along with dedicated career services and support. This innovative workshop is tailored to women, single parents, and caregivers impacted by the market downturn who may currently be unemployed or underemployed.

Furthermore, Fischman notes, "I am heavily involved with the students at New York Tech where one of the most successful clubs in the history of the university was formed under my guidance (nyitventures.com)".
