Janet Grotticelli attended Columbia University, where she received her B.S, degree, and then received her medical degree from NYITCOM. Grotticelli completed her anesthesiology residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in affiliation with Mount Sinai School of Medicine and was a partner in Schenectady Anesthesia Associates in upstate New York. During this time, she completed her M.B.A. and began to consult in the pharmacology field. Her love for medical education was fueled after joining Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she became Director of Medical Simulation and Early Clinical Experience: Introduction to Doctoring. Grotticelli joined NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine as Coordinator of Doctor Patient Relationship for both year one and two medical students.
