Jason Sargenti’s professional skills developed in an interdisciplinary professional planning and architectural environment, and were broadened by his academic affiliations. Sargenti currently provides instruction and curriculum development on topics including sustainable systems design, construction management, civil engineering technology, and environmental site planning. In this capacity, he coordinates with various department committees to develop course learning objectives and the pedagogical approach to best enhance the core curriculum. In addition, Sargent demonstrates those concepts with models to teach students how to build creative agency over their built environment, and support diversity, adaptability, and resilience in the face of ever-changing conditions.
Recent Projects/Research
- Developed project scope, operational program plans, and resilient master manager space plans, including redundant utility and life safety services for the World Trade Center Site for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
- Prepared design standards and specification for transit station modernization, accessibility optimization, existing facilities surveys, and technical advisory documents.
