Kristeen McLellan received her B.A. in Linguistics from the University of British Columbia and an M.A. (TESOL) from Trinity Western University. Before joining NYIT-Vancouver, Kristeen taught at Dorset College as an English instructor and was the academic director of English. During this time she was also a sociolinguistics instructor in Trinity Western's MATESOL program. McLellan has also taught in Japan, where she was a lecturer at Kagoshima University and Kagoshima Immaculate Heart College.
McLellan’s interests include second language acquisition, pronunciation research and teaching, second language writing, technical writing, online teaching, and learner motivation.
