Lynn Hart earned a Master of Science, with distinction, in Inclusive Education from Hofstra University. She also received a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Long Island University.
Her professional experience includes public and charter school classroom teaching, where she developed expertise in individualized and inclusive education plans with a focus on the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) research-based approach to accommodate the needs and abilities of all learners.
Further, she has experience as a special education service provider for nonprofit organizations. This role includes delivering services to children and families through behavior intervention services, applied behavioral analysis, social skills groups, and parent training.
In addition to her roles in education, she provides administration and oversight of art and cultural information events to students and adults in various communities across Long Island and the metropolitan area.
Before working in education, she held positions in administration, quality assurance, and sales.
Hart is passionate about education and values the importance of building meaningful, collaborative relationships that foster growth. She takes pride in her ability to empower students and help them set and achieve both academic and personal goals. At New York Tech, she looks forward to building relationships and bringing new and creative ways to connect employers and students.
