Leonard Leung has over 20 years of design experience and has contributed to various architectural firm’s design vocabulary and aesthetics, especially educational and institutional projects. He has worked on the designs for a wide variety of projects including a recital hall at SUNY Fredonia, visual arts center at Sarah Lawrence College, science building at Medgar Evers College, headquarters of the Mellon Foundation, an addition to Poly Prep’s Lower School in Brooklyn, and the addition/renovation of the Educational Alliance’s flagship building.

Leung’s current projects include the design of a new Equinox Fitness Club on 92nd Street in Manhattan and a new natatorium, student center, and gymnasium building for Riverdale Country School. He is currently a visiting assistant professor at the Pratt School of Architecture where he teaching third year comprehensive design studio along with a third year seminar course on professional practice. He has spent the last 20 years engaged in the discourse of architectural design as a design critic at Pratt, New York Tech, and City College of New York.

He received his Bachelor’s of Science degree from Columbia University and his Master of Architecture degree from the Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design.
