Dr. Sparacino is a Certified Nurse Educator with expertise in simulation, critical care, and physical assessment. She earned her doctorate in Education from Capella University and her master’s in Nursing Education from Molloy College. Currently, she is pursuing a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree at SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
Dr. Sparacino is published in the field of simulation and nursing education. Sparacino’s research interests include simulation, role transition, educational technology, and mental health. She has several podium presentations on nursing education, patient safety, and simulation. She also has presented numerous posters on simulation in nursing education, quality and safety, and role transition.
