Mathew Ford is an architect and educator. His research combines the collaborative nature of structures and architecture, technology in teaching fundamental structural concepts, and larger implications of technology in the built environment. In addition to teaching and coordinating structures in the School of Architecture and Design, Ford has conducted extensive research on Peter Eisenman’s work, writing, and impact as educator. With Jeffrey Kipnis, he will curate an exhibition titled, “By Other Means” in Venice during the 15th Architecture Biennale.

Ford represents New York Tech in the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture, and serves on the Education Committee of the Structural Engineers Association of New York. He received a bachelor's degree in architecture from Ohio State University and a master’s degree in architecture from Yale University. In addition, he is a registered architect in New York.
