Matthew Hayes is a former U.S. Air Force family physician and a veteran of Afghanistan with two tours of duty in 2008 and 2010. After serving for 11 years in the Air Force, he completed a sports medicine fellowship at the University of South Carolina. Hayes enjoys taking care of all athletes and getting to know New York Tech’s collegiate athletes on a personal level. Endurance athletes are also an interest of Hayes, given that he is a triathlete. Hayes is board certified in family medicine and sports medicine.
