Martin Kropac received his postgraduate degree in architecture at Columbia University in New York after studying architecture at Kansas State University and Czech Technical University in Prague. He has studied and worked in the studio of Alberto Campo Baeza in Madrid. He is the winner of the ABF Young Architect Award 2009 as well as several scholarships including a Columbia research grant to study the modern Brazilian architecture of Joao Batista Vilanova Artigas. Martin is currently working in New York at Steven Holl Architects and teaching at the School of Architecture and Design at New York Tech. Kropac is a licensed architect in the Czech Republic and a doctoral candidate at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague.
