Matt Mecs is the sales manager/VP of Gen Media Partners, a broadcast rep firm in New York. He has over 20 years of experience in marketing and media. Mecs earned his M.B.A. in digital marketing at Baruch in 2008 and has been teaching marketing on a graduate level at several schools in the city, including New York Tech, since 2014.
Mecs is certified in Google Adwords and has a strong interest in SEO/SEM, retargeting, and analytics. He enjoys working with international students and exploring cultural differences in branding around the world.

- Sold $3M of radio air time to over 50+ advertising agencies in the NYC area (17% growth from 2010 to 2011)
- Supervised team of account executives in Boston, Detroit, and Philadelphia offices
- Created $100K in new revenue in 2011 by soliciting, conducting needs analysis, and signing seven radio groups to exclusive representation contracts
- Worked with advertisers new to radio; conducted needs assessment, defined client objectives, customized multi-media campaigns to build share and brand awareness, reviewed metrics after campaign, determined next steps for growth
