Megyn Shea is an assistant professor of school counseling, with a special interest in the development and delivery of school counseling programs and interventions. Prior to becoming a counselor educator, she worked as an elementary and middle school counselor in WA and served as the President of the Washington School Counselor Association. She currently serves as the Professional Development Chair of the New York School Counselor Association. She has delivered numerous workshops at state and national conferences.

Shea received her Ph.D. in counselor education at Oregon State University, master’s degree in school counseling at Lewis and Clark College, and bachelor’s degree in psychology from Washington State University.
