Philip Noto, D.O., is a 2010 graduate of NYITCOM. He completed an Internal Medicine internship at New York-Presbyterian in Queens, a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Temple University in Philadelphia, Penn., and a fellowship in Interventional Spine and Pain Medicine at JFK Medical Center in Edison N.J. He holds dual board certifications in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Pain Medicine.

Before joining the faculty at NYITCOM, Noto held a hospital appointment at MossRehab, a world-renowned rehabilitation hospital and part of the Albert Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia, as well as an academic appointment at the Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine. His role was primarily focused in an outpatient pain practice where patients typically presented with chronic musculoskeletal and neurological pain disorders. He also frequently consulted on post-cancer treatment pain (neuropathic and somatic) and Ehlers-Danlos/hypermobility-related pain and function. Noto also served as the director of an inpatient rehabilitation unit where he regularly cared for patients with stroke, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and a spectrum of disabling neurological disorders.

Currently, his practice and research interests focus on neurological and musculoskeletal pain, including spine disorders, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders.
