Cynthia He obtained her M.A. in Second Language Studies from University of Hawaii at Manoa, as well as her CETAL certificate. She earned a B.A. in Information Communication with a focus on web design and media.
She has been teaching EAL (English for an additional language), ESP (English for special purposes), media/business communication, and global issue courses in post-secondary settings in the United States, Japan, Thailand, and Canada since 2011. Besides teaching, she conducts research in Generative AI-related challenges in curriculum design, Self-Regulated Learning Strategies, and Willingness to Communicate in second language education.
