Shannon Mashburn has been a human resources director and has more than 25 years of experience in workforce planning and strategic leadership, legal compliance, policy and procedures, HRIS, and performance management. She is currently teaching the SHRM Learning System to HR professionals seeking certification, as both an New York Tech adjunct instructor and an SHRM Long Island chapter volunteer. As a director with Alcott HR, Mashburn works with a team of highly skilled HR specialists dedicated to providing employment and compliance guidance, professional coaching, and strategic partnerships, to working with business leaders regarding employee engagement, recruitment, retention, training, talent and change management, and employment and legal practices in alignment with an organization's operational and financial objectives.
