Sahel (Sally) Zaboli is an assistant professor of Marketing at New York Tech. She joined the faculty in 2024 after completing her Ph.D. at Oklahoma State University. Her research explores the intersections of social issues, moral grandstanding, political ideology, and consumer well-being, particularly on social media platforms. She has published her work in the Journal of Consumer Psychology and has several ongoing research projects targeting top journals. Zaboli also has presented her research at various prestigious conferences, including the Association for Consumer Research and the Society for Consumer Psychology.
Prior to her academic career, Zaboli gained valuable industry experience as a communication manager at KMT Group in Tehran, Iran, and served as the Behavioral Lab Manager at the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University. She also has a strong background in teaching, having instructed courses in Consumer and Market Behavior and Marketing Research at Oklahoma State.
