Tianze Li is an active educator, scholar, and practitioner. Li obtained his Ph.D. from the I.H. Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba. He has taught a variety of accounting and finance courses such as managerial accounting, financial management, financial accounting, and portfolio management at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Li's research interests span the fields of corporate disclosure, investments, and business strategy. His research has been presented in premier national and international conferences organized by the American Accounting Association and Southwestern Finance Association, among others. He has published several papers in highly ranked peer-reviewed academic journals such as the Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions, and Money; International Review of Economics and Finance; Finance Research Letter; and International Journal of Hospitality Management. Li has professional work experience in the accounting and finance area, and was a CPA in China prior to joining academia. He also holds a CFA® charter and is an active member of the CFA Institute.
