MayFest Meets Final Roar 2021
May 12, 2021
From May 3 through 8, students, alumni, faculty, and staff safely came together, in person or from the comfort of their own homes, to celebrate the end of the academic year at a series of events that included new and traditional MayFest and Final Roar activities. This longstanding New York Tech tradition is hosted by the Offices of Student Engagement and Alumni Relations, and the Campus Programming Board.
Attendees from the Long Island and New York City campuses participated in many events, including virtual bingo, the Glam Ball Extravaganza: Drive-in and Drag, Final Roar Senior Toast, a drive-in movie, a drive-in concert featuring Andy Grammer live from Los Angeles, and more.
Graduating students also had the opportunity to have their seated senior portrait taken and participate in a “Stroll Across the Stage” event as their names were announced and up to two guests cheered them on. Traditional activities such as cap decorating and a senior toast were also part of the Class of 2021 “final roar” during the week.
