Week of Welcome Continues
September 13, 2018
There is still one more week of Week of Welcome events! All new and returning students are invited to join in a number of activities including the Student Involvement Fair on September 18 on the Long Island (Old Westbury, N.Y.) campus, the Student Employment Career Fair also on September 18 on the New York City (Manhattan) campus, and the Salsa Dance Sensation on September 20 on Long Island.
During the first week of events, students were welcomed by NYIT President Hank Foley, Ph.D., and mingled with new classmates and met faculty at the New Student Welcome; picked up free NYIT swag at the Executive Welcome/Blue Thursday Kick-Off; stopped by the Free Grab Stations for some sustenance including complimentary fruit, snacks, muffins, water, and more to get them through their first week of class; and kicked off the school year at the Week of Welcome Barbecue.
Students are also invited to stop by Homecoming 2018 on September 22.
