Why did you choose to study at New York Institute of Technology?
I felt like I found my second home when I came here. The university has a great staff, and I have made many new friends that made me feel welcome on campus. New York Tech is also a great school for engineering, so I knew I would have many opportunities here.
What does being an orientation leader mean to you?
To me, it is a person that is like a guide to other students. I feel like I’m a true leader that helps incoming students feel welcome at New York Tech the same way that past orientation leaders made my class feel. We want to be there for the students to make sure that they have an amazing experience on campus.
What, in your opinion, makes New York Tech unique/special?
In my opinion, what makes New York Tech unique is our staff. I worked with staff members that have been nothing but great, and I’m able to get along with them. They’re always there for me when I need help with anything, and I’m there for them, too.
