Murat Bayramoglu, (M.S. '05), CEM, CBCP

Senior Energy Engineer, AECOM

Murat Bayramoglu has been working in the energy efficiency industry since 2013. He received his B.A. in Mechanical Engineering from Sakarya University and his M.S. in Energy Management from New York Institute of Technology. He currently works for AECOM as a senior energy engineer targeting carbon reduction strategies for LL97 and implementing systems upgrades for his clients.

Craig Gruber is president of Innoventive Power, LLC, which he co-founded in 2001 as a vehicle to bring the benefits of electric demand response to commercial and industrial customers and to improve efficiency and resiliency for energy users. Gruber is widely regarded as thought leader and is known for his innovative approach to solving complex challenges in the energy sector.

Marjaneh Issapour

Marjaneh Issapour, M.S., PE, SM.IEEE, CCNA

Director, Renewable Energy and Sustainability Center, Farmingdale State College

Marjaneh Issapour, PE, is an electrical engineer and an educator at Farmingdale State College. She has maximized the effectiveness of Farmingdale College to respond to evolving needs of new and nascent industries. She is the creator of the first “Wind Turbine Technician” Certificate program and the first college micro-credential for engineers in the state, which was among the first in the nation. She also created Farmingdale State College’s first “Sustainable Energy” Certificate program. Issapour has encouraged greater clean energy literacy across Long Island and has made a substantial impact. One example is the Solar PV program, which has trained more than 90 percent of solar installers on Long Island. In 2021 she created a collaborative program with GE which lead to direct employment for attendees. In addition, she created an introductory wind literacy course, serving 60 people from disadvantaged communities on Long Island and introducing them to career paths in offshore and onshore wind.

Shift Manager, Steam Operations, Con Edison

Daniel Pego joined Con Edison in 2007, after graduating from SUNY Maritime College, and worked at three power plants before accepting positions in facilities management and construction management. He briefly left Con Ed to pursue a position with NYU Langone Hospital as the facilities HVAC operations manager, but he has since returned to his roots as a shift manager at the West 59th Street Steam Generating Station in Manhattan.

Energy Performance Manager, The Durst Organization

Robert M. Peras, CEM, EBCP, PMP, is a seasoned energy professional with 20 years of experience working in the private and public sectors as an energy consultant, owner/operator, and public utility engineer and manager. Peras is currently the energy performance manager for The Durst Organization, where his main focus is working with commercial and residential building engineers and property managers to optimize the operation and maintenance of HVAC and lighting systems.

Program Coordinator/Commerical Outreach Specialist, TRC Companies

Steven D. Sannuto is program coordinator/commercial energy consultant at TRC Companies. He has over 20 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, and control systems. He has installed comprehensive building management systems, conducted a comparative study of the electrical grid with smart grid designs, maintained the integrity of a 2,480 MW power plant at Ravenswood Generating Station, and analyzed electrical transmission and distribution projects and budgets.
