International Education Week: LGBTQ+ Rights Around the Globe

NYIT’s Pride Alliance invites you to learn about the situation of LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and others) communities around the globe. As put by Human Rights Watch, "people around the world face violence and inequality—and sometimes torture, even execution—because of who they love, how they look, or who they are."

This event is hosted as part of International Education Week, a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, and part of NYIT's efforts to promote the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.
