Alcohol Awareness: Mocktails and Shocktales

Join NYIT School of Health Professions, Counseling and Wellness, Student Life, and the Cohen Children's Medical Center in their community outreach initiative to prevent drinking and driving. Activities include mocktail tasting and a driving simulator to simulate drinking impairment. Law enforcement officers will discuss the legal ramifications of driving while under the influence or while intoxicated. A special guest speaker will tell his story of sustaining a traumatic brain injury due to a drunk driver.
