Marsha Alexander (D.O. '02)

Dr. Marsha Alexander is a board certified psychiatrist. She obtained her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine where she received the Award for Excellence in Behavioral Medicine. She completed her General Psychiatry Residency at North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset/NYU School of Medicine where she was a chief resident and her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NSLIJ/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Alexander currently works as a private practice outpatient psychiatrist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of PTSD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and other major psychiatric conditions. She currently provides evaluations, psychopharmacological management, and individual therapy for adolescents and adults. She also serves as a consultant to the Stony Brook World Trade Center Health Program.
