Welcome, New Faculty!

As part of the activities to begin the new academic year, New York Tech welcomed new (and recently hired) faculty at a reception held on the Long Island campus.

New Course Teaches Students the Power of Data

This fall, New York Tech introduced a course called Making Sense of a Data-Oriented Society, which will become mandatory for all undergraduate first-year students next fall. The course will introduce students to the power of data as applied to real-life problems in today’s data-driven world.

New York Tech Welcomes New Faculty

After a pandemic-driven hiatus, New York Institute of Technology once again welcomed new faculty in person at an August 30 reception at the newly renovated Salten Hall Café on the Long Island campus.

New Faculty Receive Rousing, Robust Tech Welcome

Eight tenure-track professors, three teaching faculty, and one post-doctoral teaching fellow were welcomed to New York Tech during online faculty orientation activities in early September.
