Student Profile: Antonio Patterson

While on a medical mission trip to Haiti, Antonio Patterson, then an ordained minister, circled back to a dream that began to take shape when he was a high school student. Now 50 years old, Patterson is pursuing his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at NYITCOM-Arkansas.

Just three months into her first year as a pediatrics resident at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, N.Y., Emily Kraft (D.O. ’23) was leaving the hospital at the end of her shift to head to a Halloween party when she encountered a woman in distress.
