The Long Island and New York City campuses were buzzing with fun-filled carnival activities from May 2 through 6, when students, faculty, and staff came together to celebrate the end of the academic year at MayFest.

This long-standing New York Tech tradition is hosted by the Campus Programming Board and Office of Student Life with various student organizations collaborating on fun and new events as well.

On Long Island, attendees took part in lawn games; the Bear Olympics, where teams of three competed in various fitness competitions; Culture Fest, celebrating New York Tech’s diverse community; musical chairs Bingo; and more.

In New York City, students, faculty, and staff, participated in indoor mini golf, Family Feud Game Show, paint and sip, a fashion show, henna tattooing, and more.

The week closed out with a masquerade at the MayFest Gala. The event also celebrated the Class of 2022. The New York Tech Alumni Association, Assistant Provost for Student Engagement and Development Tiffani Blake, M.Ed., and Director of Alumni Relations Sabrina Polidoro toasted the graduates.
