
New York Tech Presents NYXL Online Fan Day

New York Institute of Technology will sponsor another lively New York Excelsior (NYXL) event this Friday, April 17. During the team’s virtual Fan Day, NYXL players will answer questions and participate in a live chat at 10 p.m. (EST) via a live team AMA. The team is accepting fan questions via text or video before 11:59 p.m. on April 16 using #XLFANDAY on the team’s Twitter and Instagram.
R.S.V.P. information can be found at bit.ly/NYXLFanDay. In addition, an hour prior to the stream, the team will host an exclusive online meet-and-greet for select fans who R.S.V.P. early.
The New York Excelsior, a member of the Andbox family, is New York’s franchise in the Overwatch League. Earlier this year, New York Tech partnered with NYXL and Andbox on several initiatives, playing host to the NYXL (New York Excelsior) Student Night at OS NYC in Manhattan on February 7 and sponsoring the team’s opening day competition. Part of the Overwatch League opening weekend festivities, the events brought together gamers, teams, and eSports industry professionals for the launch of the 2020 season.
