News Byte: Grad Programs Top Woman Engineer’s Annual Rankings

New York Institute of Technology has been named a 2020 Reader’s Choice “Top 10 Graduate School” by Woman Engineer magazine. The readers of the magazine selected New York Tech among top U.S. universities and graduate schools in recognition of its diversified curriculum, student base, and faculty, and for its diverse, inclusive learning environment. Peer institutions joining New York Tech on the annual list include CalTech, Georgia Tech, MIT, Michigan State, and Purdue.
“We are honored by the readers of this publication, who represent our programs’ stakeholders and the engineering industry at large, and who have ranked our college among some of the most prestigious universities in the country,” said Babak Beheshti, Ph.D., dean of NYIT College of Engineering and Computing Sciences. “This recognition is among many that attest to our commitment to providing a highly inclusive and high-quality experience for all students.”
Launched in 1979, Woman Engineer is read by 135,205 women engineering students and professionals and an additional 92,000 online viewers.
