At the Class of 2017 Senior Toast on May 16 at NYIT de Seversky Mansion, retired engineer Russell Chiarelli (B.S. ’67) sat down with The Box to talk about life at NYIT in the 1960s and how the school has evolved over the years. He and fellow Class of 1967 graduate Thomas Holman (B.S. ’67) celebrated the 50-year anniversary of earning their degrees at NYIT commencement on May 21 in Old Westbury, N.Y. Both alumni sat on stage during the ceremony and were recognized by Rahmat Shoureshi, Ph.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Watch the video below.
