Welcome Back!

August 29, 2018

A fresh school year is upon us--but before fall 2018 gets into full swing, new and returning students can participate in a number of events and activities scheduled for NYIT’s Week of Welcome.

For example: As students settle in to their new classes, they are invited to listen to music, play games, and make new friends at the Inter-Fraternity Sorority Council Block Party on September 10 on the Long Island (Old Westbury, N.Y.) campus. Later, they can visit the Student Involvement Fair (September 11) on the New York City (Manhattan) campus and September 18 on the Long Island campus where they can learn about and join NYIT clubs and organizations. And On September 12, students can stop by the do-it-yourself ice cream sundae bar on the Long Island and New York City campuses and build their own sundae with cookies, gummies, candy, and more.

Students are also invited to stop by the Student Employment Fair on September 13 and Homecoming 2018 on September 22.
