When Harminderjeet “Harminder” Kaur (B.S. ’22) first came to New York Tech, she was nervous. But she quickly found her place by getting involved in campus life and taking on leadership roles with various clubs and organizations.

Adjunct Associate Professor Steven Lindo’s Springboard Incubators hosts after-school and summer programs to encourage minorities and women to study computer science. At New York Tech, he is guiding students on a path to success in his Career Discovery course, required course for all College of Engineering and Computing Sciences freshmen.
