Graduation 2018 Checklist
February 15, 2018
The spring semester may be just beginning, but graduation will be here before you know it. There are plenty of things to do before NYIT’s 57th Annual Commencement.
The most important thing to note is the change of venue. This year’s ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 22, at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y. The choice of venue was guided by student surveys, suggestions from recent graduates, and research. The new space ensures that rain or shine, heat wave or cold front, graduates and their families will not have to worry about the weather. There will also be plenty of parking, seats for all ticketed guests, ample restrooms, great audiovisual resources, and food and other concessions.
Here is a list of some important things to remember.
