NYIT Experts Take Over in a Minute

NYIT faculty members took over airwaves the week of May 28 on The Academic Minute, a segment that airs daily on Northeast Public Radio and that can also be accessed on Inside Higher Ed.New York Institute of Technology Week” featured five faculty members who shared their latest research and expertise. NYIT joins other esteemed colleges and universities featured in this series, which asks faculty members to share findings that serve a greater purpose and contribute to the public good. Purdue University was the previous institution featured in a weekly takeover.

NYIT Week highlighted discoveries and discussion on cybersecurity, sustainable urban design, exercise physiology, occupational therapy, and criminology. Read more below:

Since 2017, The Academic Minute has featured a total of 13 NYIT experts who have reached millions of influencers and other stakeholders, showcasing the university’s dedication to cutting-edge research and thought leadership.
