The Office of Institutional Effectiveness in RADS (Research, Assessment & Decision Support) is responsible for matters related to the institution’s accreditation with Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and discipline specific accreditation requirement in educational effectiveness assessment.
Its mission is to:
- Keep New York Tech community with current knowledge of MSCHE’s policies, procedures and guidelines in accreditation review and monitoring process.
- Ensure institutional compliance with all MSCHE Commission requests for written report and substantive change application.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to CPI committee in the implementation of educational effectiveness assessment for all academic and student support units.
- Facilitate data analysis, and data-informed decision making to improve student learning and achievement.
- Research, evaluate and disseminate best practices in the field of educational effectiveness assessment.
- Periodically evaluate the effectiveness of assessment processes utilized in the institution for improvement.
