Advancing Medical Education at 2019 AACOM Conference

April 15, 2019

Students and faculty from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine’s (NYITCOM) Long Island and Jonesboro locations made an impressive showing at Educating Leaders 2019, the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) annual conference. The event, which was held from April 9 through April 13 in Washington D.C., is the largest osteopathic medical education event in the United States.

This year, NYITCOM students and faculty shared findings on topics such as rural healthcare, health and science education for K-12 students, and the role of virtual reality in medical school education, among many others.
